I’m fascinated with complicated simplicity, and wire allows me to invent with just my hands. The goal is to create unexpected sculptures that are transcendental, and that which resonate a voice beyond the esthetic by combining a sense of nostalgia, innocence and humor in the work. I want my art form to emphasize both skill and vision, which stops short of giving us too much information, allowing others the space to imagine. In addition, I transform verse into a visual art form that not only is sculptural, but tells a story of spiritual growth.
